Writing the poem took me like 30min and it actually went pretty good i wrote about my best friend.who i grew up with. i think my poem turn out okay it could been better.
We have acquaintances, friends, and best friends who encircle us in our lives
Deqa is my best friend and for many reasons will I describe
The experiences I have with her shape our friendship
She is there not only for the fun things we share but also when things get hard to bare.
Deqa is true and always gives out great advice, even when we don’t see eye to eye.
I remember going through some trouble and stress with school, and going to see her to let it through
She would say “Don’t cry because it’s over smile because it happened”
I would laugh knowing that it came from Dr. Seuss but it made a lot of sense to me
Others might think she jokes too much, but behind those jokes is meaning and purpose.
We have our times of difficulty but something that helps us go through is our love for cooking and
baking especially brownies.
Great poem. There was a lot of emotion in it. I especially liked the quote from your friend and Dr. Seuss: Don’t cry because it’s over smile because it happened. I hadn't heard that saying before and it's a good one.
